K i have been having problems with call of duty world at war. I havent had any problems in the past installing patches. But when the v1.6 patch came out for cod 5, all of a sudden i have been having alot of problems. when i try to play the game when the patch is installed its completly normal. As soon as i go and try to join a game CoD 5 crashes. So i uninstalled the game thinking i had a corupt patch, and installed all the patches up to 1.5. but the same thing happend when i had the 1.6 patch. So i uninstalled it one more time, same thing..... so i installed it again and left it with the 1.5 patch. im able to play on servers that have only 1.5 patch, but theres olny like 4 and i would really like the 1.6 patch. Can anybody help me please....

Your C: should be at least 15% free. It is only 13% free. You should try back ing up around 30 gigs of space and defragmenting your HDD after.

Have you tried running the game as administrator?
right click on game's .exe
compatibility ( I haven't used XP in a long time now.)
run as admin

Have you tried updating punkbuster too? You'll just need to run that program and find the game's exe and update punkbuster.
