my laptop gaming problem

my laptop is accer aspire 6935g
intel core 2 quad 2.26ghz
nvidia geforce 9600
4gb ram
gaming very slow when i play game like prototype and gta4 is very slow .first when start playing the speed is normal after few minute only start very lag and slow .But my laptop is enuf for the games requirement i oso make the graphic lowest and close all program and clean all rubbish but the problem still cant solve .some say is cpu and graphic card temperature so pls help me see and tell me wat to do THANK YOU VERY MUCH i reli hope can play

run the temperature monitor part of this in the tray,while you are playing and see if there is a large jump in the temps
