Commandos BEL - Eidos (1998)

Loved this game when it came out, gave away the PC years ago - purchased from Eidos. Won't run on my Dell Inspiron 531. it'll show the intro and crash right after. Awaiting support response from manufacturer, but I'll be old by the time I hear from them.

Hello and welcome to TSF.

Have you checked the box to see what it is compatible with? Try running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 98 or 95.

Re: Commandos BEL - Eidos (1998)

Bought it online, but as old as it is, that may be the case. How do I do that?

Re: Commandos BEL - Eidos (1998)

Figured that out - tried it to no avail. Also checked "Run in 256 colors" and "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution." Still no luck.

Re: Commandos BEL - Eidos (1998)

Looked under "View System Information' - don't see it. Where would I find it? btw - Does "Data Execution Prevention" relate to the problem?
