Guild Wars/ Sims 3

I want to buy the Sims 3 (Or 2, I don't really care) but im afraid.

I have Guild Wars: Nightfall, but I can't even play it because my computer restarts every few minutes inside the game. And if it doesnt restart, it'll take me to a blue screen with all this stuff on it.

I'd hate to buy the Sims and waste my money on a game I can't even play if my computer won't let me do anything with it.

I have a Dell Optiplex GX620 By the way. Windows XP.

Hello Rabgix,
after following floop's suggestions and posting your PC specs, also please post your PC temperatures, you can use Everest as well, first take a note of your PC temperatures when it's idle, then play the game and before the PC restarts minimize the game and take a note again of your PC temps
please post both temps here

Hi and welcome to TSF.

Please do all of the things that have been suggested above me. There's just one final thing I'd like to say, the next time you experience the bluescreen, could you please record what it says and post it here.
