COD 4 Crash!!

Hi please help....after playing cod 4 for many months my PC has decided to start to crash after 5-10 mins of online gameplay, the screen freezes and the sound loops and the only way out of it is to manually switch of the pc, i havn't changed any settings recently and my graphics card has always stayed at a reasonable temp, after doing alot of research on many forums i still don't have an answer, so i thought you guys would be the best place for me to post...
Dell dimension 5150
xp sp3
8600 gt card
3 Gb ram
plenty of memory

Re: COD 4 Crash!!

Hi jibbajabba.

Can you please try all of these steps.

If none of them help, can you please post the make, model and wattage of your PSU (Power Supply Unit). Also can you please download Everest and check your temperatures both while idle and after a few minutes of gameplay (but before the crash happens). Post the temperatures here.
