Fatal Errors while gaming!

Hey I come here out of desperation Ive read almost every post from tons of forums and googled lots of times and tried tons of so called solutions to my errors but none worked only seemed to change the type of error I got. So I start out getting fatal errors on warcraft 3 then I tried a million things none worked and I started playing wow and it does the same thing it closes the game after 10-20 mins and recently its been crashing my comp giving me the blue screen...This all started after I reformated my comp cause I had a virus and Ive used the same windows disc and drivers to install everything and I had none of these probblems with these games in the past so I know it's not cause my hardware but maybe drivers even tho I installed most the new drivers.

Ive got win xp sp3 3.0ghz p4 4gb mem reads 2.93gb video card is 1024mb evga
here ill just attach DxDiag file.

Re: Fatal Errors while gaming!

Hello Eternalism,
you have 4 gig of RAM, but windows is only showing 2.93?
in Windows 32 bit, 4 gig RAM are showed as 3.25
so there could be something wrong with your RAM
if you have 2 RAM sticks, remove one and keep the other.
test games with only one stick of RAM, also check what will windows detect with one Stick of RAM
also make sure to get the latest updates for windows

Can you describe the errors that you have had so that it is more clear in order to help you?
I dont mean to be rude, it is just that any back ground could prove to be helpful.

Re: Fatal Errors while gaming!

I'd side with Rockmaster on this. It could very well be your RAM. and youd need to test out. the BSOD cud very well be from the faulty ram. Wot kind of virus did you get tho. if it was bad enough that you ha to reformat, it could also have infected the boot sector of you hard drive, but i doubt it tho, otherwise youd have loads more problems with windows.
