star wars jedi knight jedi academy crashing on vista

mm my first post here, but I have pretty much the same problem. it's a seemingly random amount of time before the game stutters for about 20 seconds, goes to a white screen and vista tells me my driver has crashed and that windows has reverted to the basic colour scheme...
Any ideas?

Hi mini jam. Welcome to TSF.

It looks like a problem with your graphics card drivers. Could you please try getting the latest ones.

If you have an Nvidia Graphics Card, click here.

If you have an ATI Graphics Card, click here.

Once you have downloaded the new drivers, uninstall the old ones and then install the new ones.

If that doesn't help, could you please post your system specs. Information on posting system specs can be found here.

okay lol forgive me, I'm not sure which driver to download? I have an 9800GTX+ but in the list on the link I couldn't see which ones to download for vista 64bit but I assume that I'd get the latest 90 series one?
I'll just eat then get back to you with a system report ;)

Okayyy well, as I can't find the edit button I'll simply put this in a new post :)
The problems still happening and like I say it seems totally random (as opposed to getting to a certain point and dying)
If it makes a difference I bought the game over steam recently as part of a £15 multi-deal offer thing :P
yeahhh Please point me in the direction of the correct drivers, my system info has been updated :)

Hey :) I have got GPU-z and idle and ingame temp doesn't vary too much at all, it's pretty much always at the 45-55 mark, it never goes above 60...
My power supply is listed as 800watt desktop option but thats because I don't know the specifics, my pc was custom built by them in around april but yeah thats as much as I can tell :)

Hi again, to see what driver you're currently running, you'll need to do this:

Start -> Control Panel -> Nvidia Control Panel -> *Click on "Help" at the top of the page* -> *Click "System Information" on the list that drops down*.

The Driver will be listed under "Driver Version".
