Diablo 2 graphics problems

hey, when i play diablo 2 (patch 1.12) it looks like this:

can anyone help me to fix it?

Could you please first do all of these steps.

If none of those help, post back with your full system specs. You can refer to this thread for information on posting system specs.

Make sure your video card drivers are updated. If they already are, go into your
start menu> All Programs> Diablo 2 directory and run the video test. When the test is finished, use a different video mode. (eg. If you were using Direct 3D mode, use Direct Draw mode). I hope that helped.
