COD2 Entered Graphics Setting Not Supported
I entered a graphics setting that is not supported in COD2 and cannot get out of it. Is there a way to go back to the default settings when I cannot see the screen? Do I have to reload the program again?

Re: COD2 Entered Graphics Setting Not Supported
Hello and welcome to TSF.
What setting did you change? Was it the resolution? Try to see if there is an external configuration utility.

Re: COD2 Entered Graphics Setting Not Supported
Hello kramyasmar,
please follow these instructions carefully: go to: c:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main\players\(your profile name) there is a file called "Config.cfg" open it 1) look for a command called "r_mode" there should be a number after this command (like 1 or 2 or 3, etc...) 0 = 640 x 480 1 = 800 x 600 2 = 1024x 768 3 = 1280 x 1024 etc... set the number that suits you and save the file 2) if you can't find that command, look for this: r_fullscreen set it to 0 for windowed mode, that way you'll be able to see the menu and change the resolution if you need futher help please ask
