SERIOUS PC keyboard/Controller Problem - PLEASE HELP :(
Hello,
I installed 32 bit drivers for the PS3 controller to work on my PC, and it did as everything worked fine. However, now that I have deleted it, there seems to be a VERY large problem when I try to play games. Games such as Dead Space, Street Fighter 4 and Need For Speed Shift all do not register proper keyboard commands. For example in Dead Space, when the main menu is on screen, the entire screen shakes violently as if the mouse has been moved when it really hasn't and then immediately the the game starts to randomly choose the on screen options, highlighting and selecting whatever it feels like. The same goes with the other games and has become increasingly frustrating as I cannot play any of these games in story mode either; the game controls are messed up. Trying to change the keyboard controls is useless as well. Having purchased these games and now not being able to play them is very frustrating. Can anyone please help me with my situation? Thanks in advance. PS. I was using a wired USB connection and the driver site was http://www.motioninjoy.com and has not helped me in any way either. |

Re: SERIOUS PC keyboard/Controller Problem - PLEASE HELP :(
Hello hoodwinked, and welcome to TSF!
If you do a system restore to a date before you installed the ps3 drivers, it should fix this problem. I am not to familiar with the ps3 drivers, since i have never installed them myself, so this is the only troubleshooting option i am currently aware of, if you do not wish to do a system restore, since it will erase all your data that you have accumulated since the date of the drivers install, you can wait for other techs to respond with other suggestions. Windows Vista automatically should set restore points at least once a week i believe.

Re: SERIOUS PC keyboard/Controller Problem - PLEASE HELP :(
This problem has been gong on for a while, so if I were to system restore my files, I would have a lot of data deleted. As that is an option, it isn't the best for my situation, however thanks for the suggestion. Any other help would be appreciated :(
