[SOLVED] Ventrilo sound stops after aprox 3minutes (Realtek HD)
Hello, i have the following problem.
After i booted my pc all sound works perfectly, this goes for music, windows sounds etc etc. However, after i started ventrilo 3.0 the sound just completely stops after aprox 3min, ( yes aprox 3 minute every single time ). And it doesnt only stop on ventrilo, it stops completely including music and other sounds. Only a reboot fixes the sound. I'm having realtek high definition onboard sound. Updated it with the latest drivers, didnt work. Tried compatible mode to XP SP2, tried Run as Admin. Both didnt worked. Currently using Windows Vista 32bit. Anyone that can help me on this ? Thanks |

Re: Ventrilo sound stops after aprox 3minutes (Realtek HD)
I just fixed this problem, as many others seem to have it as well here goes :
Right Click -> Reatek HD Audio Configuration `-> goto Sound Manager In here on the right top of the screen you'll see Advanced Settings. Click it and you'll see 2 options, uncheck the first one and click the second one. This fixed it for me |

Re: [SOLVED] Ventrilo sound stops after aprox 3minutes (Realtek HD)
Hi. sorry for replying to this port but this option will not fix that problem.. Yes it will fix it for that time, even you will turn off or restart your pc again. And this is not problem only while you are runing Ventrilo. It actually do the same crashes when you are runing second life, and maybe another programs which are playing sounds.
And another problem. maybe i'm dumb or just blind, but i cand find how to set up what programs will play sound from back connector and what from front conntectors. I'm trying to find some real fix but still cant found some. |
