hulk game is too laggy

my system meets the recommended requirements of The Incredible Hulk except the gfx card. I have nvidia geforce 5200 FX 256 MB and the game requires geforce 6600. One more thing I wanna say my friend doesn't have a gfx card then too the game works smooooothly Can you tell me where the fault is?????

You don't meet the minimum requirements, so the game will lag. It's to be expected. Even if your friend doesn't have a "graphics card" he probably still has an integrated video chipset which may be better than your old GeForce 5200.

I have to agree with Phaedrus2401. If your system doesn't meet the minimum standards on everything then it won't work. If you have a spare 80 dollars or so you can get a 7600

I have to agree with wmorri on needing a new graphics card but a 7600 is old technology and $80 could be better spent on a card like this.

Video cards are not measured by the amount of video RAM that they have
so if your video card has 256 MB of VRAM (Video RAM) and the game needs a card with 128 MB RAM, that doesn't mean that you will play the game at max settings. Not at all!!

The game needs a Directx 9.0 Card, and your card is Directx 8.0, so you need to get a new card if you want to play the game

RockmasteR is correct.

Cards are made in series', with each new series being a vast improvement on the old series. In each series, the cards are made from low-end to high-end.

You have a low end 5 Series card, and the game needs a medium level 6 series card. There is no way that you could expect the game to run on a low end card that is a series too old.

In the first post I had mentioned about my friend who doesnt have a gfx card then too the game HULK works smoothly . I just now saw his pc properties and also asked him if he had a gfx card or not he told me that he has no gfx card and in his properties the video card is intel chipset family G31,G36 this just the normal video card used to run windows XP

Yes, however, his Intel Chipset is almost certainly more recently made than your Fx5200, and thus is more compatible with the newer games, even if it is an integrated chipset. I am sorry to say it, but you just can't run the game because you don't meet the specs. Your friend was lucky enough to get an integrated chipset which could run the game.

it is really useless to get a new motherboard, cause your PC is too old
if you can spare 450$ you can build a PC that can play Crysis and GTA IV on medium high settings and Hulk game will be run on max settings easily

the system requirements of virtua tennis 3 are as given below

and my friends system requirements are as same as mine but he has a 2GB ram and the intel chipset family as I told you in the above post

you said that his gfx card is more developed than mine so why does this game run in my pc (NOT SMOOTHLY) and not in his(THE GAME DOES NOT START, IT SHOWS SOME ERROR) and why does hulk run smoothly in his and not mine?

6600 GT is far better than 6600
your card can play both games, but they lag a lot
your friend can play games that requires 6600 an down but not 6600 GT
the error that your friend is having, must be something related to pixel shader or vertex shader or something like that
Hulk, does not need shader model 3.0 to run, it needs shader model 2.0 (6600)
but the 6600 GT is based on shader model 3.0, that technology is available in the newer intel chipsets like the HD 4x series but that chipset will run games very slowly.
So, your card is dedicated, but old, that's why you can run games, but they'll be slow

You also have only only 4 gb's of free disk space. To run your games properly you should have at least 15% free disk space. Its time for you to start backing up some stuff.
