Gaming on dual screen.
i am using a external monior plug to my laptop using VGA cable. the external monitor is the primary and laptop screen is the secondary act as extended desktop. i have two questions.
how do play games using both screens to hav a wider field of view, for example racing games? wat software shld i use and how? then for some games such as command and conquar generals, when i play on the external monitor, when i move the mouse around the cursor will go over to the secondary monitor. For most of the games the cursor will be restricted to primary scrren when i play game at full screen, but for some it cant, what can i do? (other than using only one monitor...) |

Re: Gaming on dual screen.
Here is a link that could answer many questions.
I think where you will have trouble is with the fact that you are using a laptop and they traditionally do not have powerful video setups. If you want to see the images at a decent resolution you will basically have to double the resolution and through either software or hardware that image is split to be shown on the 2 screens. http://www.multi-screens.com/ |

Re: Gaming on dual screen.
Dual video cards can't display tow different images as you would need tow different computers to do that.
Two video cards can only increase performance and only some games like Supreme commander allow you to do this properly. It all depends on the game itself. |

Re: Gaming on dual screen.
What graphics card are you using? With Nvidia drivers you can simply set it to span the image across both screens, however most games won't work like that.
Like Ninja said, depends on whether the game supports it or not. |
