Oblivion Problem
I'm using Windows Vista Home Basic. 1023 MB RAM. AMD Athlon XP 3200+ 2.19 GHz processor. NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X graphics card. Realtek AC'97 Audio sound card. What is it that isn't working. By the way, I'm getting the black box in the left hand corner and the windows message saying that it quit and would search for the problem (which it never finds.)
I think I've found out that my video card isn't good enough to run this, but is there any other problem I might run into if I get a new video card? GeForce 6200 256MB DDR AGP Graphics Card. Will this video card be able to run it? Last edited by Aus_Karlos; 08-22-2009 at 10:18 PM. Reason: merged |

Re: Oblivion Problem
Hi imharrypotter and welcome to TSF,
Yes your GPU is the problem here. You need at least 6600GT to be able to run the game. 7 Series cards are recommended. You need to make sure that your Power Supply Unit can handle the new card. Can you post your PSU specs. Its located inside your PC in the top back corner, there should be a label there with a description of your PSU. Can you please post it.
