Gears of War Low FPS

Hi everyone! , I've got a problem with Gears of War.

I don't know why, because my PC can run it when I saw PC Requeriments..

I can play games like Left 4 Dead on very high without going down on 25 FPS..

I've got an ATI Radeon X1250 and Windows XP

When I'm into game, y go to console and type "stat FPS" and it shows to me that my game is going on 6-7-8 FPS on VERY LOW at 800 x 600..

I installed patches and modified some .ini files on Wargame\Config but it doesn't work..

Any idea??

Hi there gogax23. Welcome to TSF.

Can you first try all these steps.

If those steps don't help, please make sure you post your system specs.

Instructions on how to post system specs can be found here.

The source engine that runs Left 4 Dead is very forgiving on using old hardware and the unreal 3 engine (Gears of War) is more power hungry. YOur running the game at the bare minimum video card anyways.

Please do what Lord Sirian said in post #2.
