Re: Low FPS for Assasins Creed

Hi Rei Fuertez, welcome to TSF.
Yes, you are right, the 7300 SE is quite a low end card and would undoubtedly be causing the lag.
Best you can do is try turning all the settings down to low.

If you would like suggestions on an upgrade, let us know your budget, country and the make and model of your power supply and we'll help you out.

Re: Low FPS for Assasins Creed

Hi there. I agree with Tiber Septim about the graphics card, however, Assassin's Creed is also a very CPU hungry game and if you have an older model CPU, even if you decide to get a new graphics card, your computer will struggle.

Can you please post the exact model of your CPU.

To find out exactly what it is do this:

Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Device Manager -> *Click the little + sign next to "Processors"*

Post everything listed under Processors.

Re: Low FPS for Assasins Creed

The total approxiamte memory usage is what Video card can use from your RAM too. With my GTX 260 (with 896mb of Vram) I can pull 2.67 gigabytes of memory.

That total amount amount of Vram isn't really useful at all for performance and what really matters is your dedicated Vram. Your Vram should be 256mb. Can you upload a screenshot of your mainboard tab on CPU-Z so we can see if has a PCI-E x16 slot.

Re: Low FPS for Assasins Creed

Your CPU only just meets the minimum requirements for Assassin's Creed, so if you want to play it on any sort of good quality settings, you will probably need to upgrade your CPU as well.

What's your budget? What are you willing to spend at the moment?

Re: Low FPS for Assasins Creed

You can upgrade your CPU to whatever LGA 775 CPU pretty much out there.

Here are your motherboard specs.
ASUS P5KPL-AM SE

A new Graphics card requires a new power supply to properly power it. You are looking for at least $180 for a proper upgrade. Closet to $350 for a CPU, PSU and graphics card.

Re: Low FPS for Assasins Creed

your motherboard can handle a new CPU and a new video card so I also suggest to upgrade both of them
also you need a good Power supply
if you don't want to pay lot of money you can get a Core 2 Duo CPU and a Geforce 9500 GT or even a 9600 GT

Memory type: 1024MB DDR2
