Trouble Viewing Unicode (Korean) Characters
I want to play a Korean game, but most of the characters aren't correct.
Here is a screenshot of what I mean. http://i28.tinypic.com/5vncrn.jpg I changed my system locale to Korean (Korea), and I was able to view Korean characters fine. However, I don't want to have to keep changing my system locale to Korean (Korea) just to play a game. Is there any way to view Korean characters without changing my system locale? |

Re: Trouble Viewing Unicode (Korean) Characters
In IE7/8 go to tools > Internet Options > General > Languages.
Click Add, then add Korean to the list. As you have the language pakc installed on your system all characters will be displayed. If not then you will require the full language pack from the Vista Updater. Control Panel > Windows Update > View Available updates > Vista Language Packs

Re: Trouble Viewing Unicode (Korean) Characters
Yeah unfortunate, it does seem to be limited to Vista Ultimate and Enterprise. The only way to get Premium to use Korean is to buy a new copy of Vista Premium with Korean as default.
Or you can upgrade to Ultimate which wont cost as much as a new purchase. And you question about Unicode. The game itself must be able to understand Unicode, it needs to be coded into the game. The only way to find out is to ask the developers if its supported and can it be enabled.
