Exclamation HELP game keeps crashing!

I'm playing Syberia 1. Everytime I get to a certain point the game crashes. Thankfully, I have saved it thus far but I don't know what to do! I uninstalled & then reinstalled it. Also sent an email to microids but no response yet. It's driving me crazy cuz I really want to finish playing! When it crashes: the screen is frozen & I have to go back to the desktop screen then Esc it. When I start the game back up I look under the cutscenes & that part is there but it still won't let me load it! It just asks me for the dvd & well unfortunately this was a digital download!!!!
PLEASE HELP ME!! Thank You

Re: HELP game keeps crashing!

Post all hardware specs, including power supply wattage and brand.
What temps are you running.

Re: HELP game keeps crashing!

Hello Betnjohn, and welcome to TSF.

Can you please post your system specs(RAM,CPU, Graphics Card, Motherboard, and Power Supply)

To check your power supply:
1) Turn your computer off
2) Unplug your power cord
3) Open your computers case
4) Write down the Brand, Model, and Watts of your power supply)

Also please click on "Steps before posting" in my signature, and follow those steps to see if this resolves your issue.

Let us know the results.
Thanks.

Re: HELP game keeps crashing!

Doh, most likely it is an overheating issue then, you can buy a notebook fan at www.newegg.com to reduce the heat temps for your laptop.

Re: HELP game keeps crashing!

Download Everest from here:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

And SensorsView from here:

http://www.stvsoft.com/SensorsViewPro21Setup.exe

Use them to record your Temperatures while the computer is idling and then after you play the game for 15 minutes or so.

Post them back here.
