need oblivion help with graphics selection menu

i need help with an oblivion graphics selection from the launcher loading not showing up glitch or something i have a i7 ati 4890 albatron 6gbs of ram home premium 64 bit

There might be a corruption in the installation.

I suggest a clean uninstall then reinstall of the game, using Revo Uninstaller, you can download this from my signature.

Yes, but if you reinstalled it by just removing it with Add or Remove programs, that means you didn't remove its registry files and or possible extra files.

This is why i recommend Revo Uninstaller, it does that all for you.

From what i understand, you are telling me that when you load up the game, the graphics selection is not loading properly.

Please ensure your Graphic Card Drivers are updated and your DirectX is updated. You can get these updates from the links on my signature.

Can you please list your system specs and operating system.

Also, is this game launched from Steam?

Hello again Joshual2,

Do you use the Steam platform to run this game?
Can you please list your systems:
Processor
RAM
Graphics Card

Also, Depending on what version of DirectX you have, it will not update automatically. To ensure you have it updated, select the DirectX in the blue font in my signature.
