Hi, i just recently bought Left 4 Dead on the PC and any time I have more then ten or fifteen zombies on screen, the game begins to lags. i wondering if there is anything I could do to help this game perform better.

My system specs are:
Model: Satellite L305

Memory Ram: 2.00 gb

Re: Left 4 Problems

Do you know what your graphics chipset is? If you don't, then hit Start, accessories, Run, then type in dxdiag. Hit enter and post back what it says for your display. It could be your graphics chip isn't good enough.

Re: Left 4 Problems

You should buy a new desktop (preferably) or a new laptop. You can't upgrade most (98% or higher) of the laptops out there without costing a huge amount or its just not possible.

Re: Left 4 Problems

Intel Chipsets have huge problems trying to run games.

As Mcninjaguy said, you should buy a new desktop or if you really must, a new laptop.

Re: Left 4 Problems

Yeah, it's not a gaming machine what so ever, it's not meant to be. Crank the graphics down as low as you can, and try to save up for a new laptop. They are quite spendy if you want good graphics.

If you are going to get a new pc, I recommend building it. We have a section on TSF to help pick the right parts..

Re: Left 4 Problems

If you live in the states and you just need a new Tower you can get a really decent Computer for around $550

In Canada its going to cost you around $650 for the same thing.
