Left 4 Problems
Hi, i just recently bought Left 4 Dead on the PC and any time I have more then ten or fifteen zombies on screen, the game begins to lags. i wondering if there is anything I could do to help this game perform better.
My system specs are: Model: Satellite L305 Genuine INtel Cpu 585 @ 2.16GHz Memory Ram: 2.00 gb 32-bit operating system Any help would be much appreciated, thanks |

Do you know what your graphics chipset is? If you don't, then hit Start, accessories, Run, then type in dxdiag. Hit enter and post back what it says for your display. It could be your graphics chip isn't good enough.

Intel Chipsets have huge problems trying to run games.
As Mcninjaguy said, you should buy a new desktop or if you really must, a new laptop.

Yeah, it's not a gaming machine what so ever, it's not meant to be. Crank the graphics down as low as you can, and try to save up for a new laptop. They are quite spendy if you want good graphics.

well I also have PC, but it a 2002 compaq. i tried to upload l4d on that, but the screen goes black, flashes, and goes to my desk top.
i may just need a new graphics card but ill wanted to ask you guys before i did anything these specs are: Model: DC480A-AA S3300NX NA110 Processor: amd athlon XP 2600+, MMX, 3dnow, ~2.1ghz Memory ram: 512 Mb Chip Set: GeForce4 Mx 440 Thanks you for anyand all help |
