[SOLVED] IL-2 Mouse Problem

Hi! I hope someone can help me. I tried installing Il-2 1946. When I get to the main page - my mouse is frozen and can't click on anything to get started!
Actually, there is no mouse pointer on the page at all . Can someone pls help me? (As you've probably figured out, I'm a neophyte when it comes to computers and flight sims).

Please post your FULL system specs.

Are your drivers and DirectX up to date?

I've got a friend who has been playing IL2-1946 for a few years now, on Win2000 and XP, so I'll get him to take a look at this thread.

Could you post all your system specs please?

Include:

Motherboard
CPU
RAM
PSU
Graphics Card

i have a different version of IL2, but the same problem. i had to download a correct copy the file
rts.dll
into the root directory of the installation. if that file is there make sure it's size is not 0KB. a sure sign it is corrupted. there could be a copy on the disc, if so replace it. obviously backup the file currently on the HD before you over write in case that is not the solution.
