Re: New Game Preperation

I am not sure, because both games have not release their system requirements.

What are the system requirements for StarCraft II?

We'll have more details on specific system requirements closer to the release date.
I personally think that you can run SC2, I am not sure about MW2.

Re: New Game Preperation

i have a 8500 GT right now and i was able to run MW, @ 800x600 with medium performance.

seeing the gameplay demo at E3 (Althou it's played on 360) does not have that much difference, on the graphics.

if i have MW and run it on a HD4770 will it make it on 720p with at least 4AA? and high settings?

That is a 360, PC has superior graphics to a console. Why? because you can upgrade parts in a PC, unlike a console you just got to wait for a newer console. Xbox 360 has been useing the same parts since it came out. What I am saying is that don't judge how your computer will run MW2 looking at 360 graphics.

Re: New Game Preperation

What Power supply unit is running your PC? (PSU)

If your PSU can't give enough power to your graphics this will strongly affect the graphical performance of your games.

The 360 has the equivalent of a ATI X1950 graphics in it. The games for the 360 are finely to run smoothly for those exact hardware requirements. Your 4770 is probably at least or a little over twice the graphical power of the X1950.

Re: New Game Preperation

the HD4770 as i read on this forums can run on a 620W PSU as recommended i have 550W. I am considering upgrading that to 620W as well.

Re: New Game Preperation

Yeah...they are affordable. I would like to get to a 1.2KW to get a better VC but anything above 620W are expensive, And i am not even much of a gamer compared to my teen years.
