Prototype sound error

Hey TSF, I've recently Installed prototype (bought) and whenever I play all the sounds are very fast as in a blackwatch says a sentence in a millisecond and cinematics are all glitchy and laggy my specs
Quad Q6600 @ 2.4
HD4830 at Core: 700 (stable) mem 900
2gb ram
windows vista
integrated Sound card
Asus P5Q-SE (Mobo)

oh I've also tried playing with the latency in sound and does nothing.

This is a very common problem with Prototype, i myself had this issue and took me a while to figure out.

First thing you can try is go to your Device Manager and Disabled all HID devices that you dont use. Be careful not to disable your Mouse and Keyboard if they are USB, If you have a Keyboard with a LCD screen it will also be under HID devices up as a Generic device but there is no proper description so you will just have to find the right one to enable again.

This seems to fix playback issues with bink video (Into and cutscenes) also slowdowns with the menu system and the Web thing.

I Fixed it with this, so for all the other people with problems here ya go, well as far as i Know this only works on Intel HDA but anyway!
