[SOLVED] Starcraft doesn't fully apear on the moniter

Ok my copy of starcraft when loads appears slightly skewed to the right. Not by a large amount but enough to annoy me and interfere with some of the games.

Interestingly my windows start up does this as well( the part that has the loading bar, though i have never put it to anything due to it not having any effect on me whatsever, as it goes back to normal as soon as it proberly loads.

This is the only game that does this.

Any help i would be grate ful

What is the size of your screen? Is it a widescreen?
If it is then you need to change the resolution.

Its not wide screen its 1280 x 1024, but the game has no real way of changing the resoultion by normal means.
By that i don't know if i have to go routing though the files to get this.

try to reduce the refresh rate of your monitor

Control panel -> Display -> settings -> advanced -> Monitor

set a lower value of your refresh rate (eg: 60 hertz)

Mine was already at 60, but i bought it up and all issues are fixed. So thank you.

Note if theres a proplem with a high hertz could you tell me :P

ah!
that was because a low refresh rate
no problem at all, on the contrary, it's better to have a high refresh rate
if the problem is solved please mark it as solved under thread tools
