XPS M1330 - able to support Total War:Empire?

I have bought and installed Total War: Empire onto my XPS M1330 which has been restored to factory settings and completely clean. However it crashes everytime I attempt to load it. Any assistance?

hello and welcome to TSF
your laptop is too weak to handle the game, especially the X3100 Intel integrated card (that is the standard option) or maybe the GF 8400 GS, bith are weak to handle the game

You need to buy a new desktop or a nice laptop with a 9650m GT or higher.

If I were you I would sell your laptop to buy a better laptop or just save up for a desktop which I can recommend a decent one (just the tower) for around $600.
