Serious problem with my pc on launching a game

I have a problem with my computer at the moment its an :-
-M2V motherboard
-4770 ATI video graphics card
-4 gigs of DDR2 RAMs
-Duo Core 2 processor
-a 470W power supply
-a 300gigs of SATA hardrive(new)
-vista 32-bit home prem

1st thing i used my old installation before i bought the following mentioned on the top which the old ones are:-
-2 gigs of RAMs
-Nvidia 7600 GT
-Duo Core 2 processor(same)
-M2v Motherboard(same)
-a 230W power supply
- a 300gigs of sata hardive(old one)
-vista 32-bit home prem

i got heaps of errors 1st i used to run WoW with music on the background, IE7 opened, ventrillo and a video music file at the same time after i logged into the game it was running fine until after 10 mins a blue screen came up with physical memmory to disk process and rebooted and it keeps doing that again...COD5 runs well till it got to reboot in 5 mins of gameplay...and crysis was wurse 1 min. I tried reformating the disk and reinstalling vista but still...the same error.

However, after i got the new equipment installed i tried to do the same thing again..and the same process came up to me and said physical dump to disk and the next trial came out to be a weird buzzing noise and rebooted by itself without a warning. So i went to the technician at austin computer and told me the next day that it has something to do with the drivers and he updated it and everything and once i got the pc back home...the same process came again after i installed vista to my new hardrive...any ideas of whats going on?

Try pulling the side cover off. Grab a fan and point it right at the processor. Then start it up and see how long it lasts...

Also try blowing the dust "bunnies" out with a can of ]Compressed Air.

It sounds as though the CPU is over-heating; as that is the only system spec that has remained the same between the two different machines......

also running your PC on a 470 W PSU is not a good idea at all
you need something like this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...sair%20650%20W

Corsair 650 W, 100$, 80$ after rebate

I agree with RockmasteR, it looks like you've encountered a PC technician with no knowledge on PC's. I am very sorry you had to encounter this.

I don't know why I always think of this too, late, but......

If you take a gander here....

You will notice that the PSU MINIMUM is 450W. Though you have a 470W PSU, your video card is using ALL 450W, and leaving the other 30W for your system. The CPU requires a bit more punch as well....
<-- for Rockmaster, as your system is GRAVELLY under-powered!

You need a bigger PSU.......

I've talked to RockmasteR about his PSU situation and he needs to frive 2 hours to get a decent PSU in a big city. It sucks for him.
