[SOLVED] Warcraft III

Warcraft III doesn't work on my laptop,
I can run it, but after 1 second, it freeze and the screen became black and say igxprd32 wasn't working normally
Is there anyway i can fix this?

hello,
many are complaining about this problem with intel integrated graphic card

you can try this fix:
- Right-click on the Warcraft III game icon on your desktop and choose properties.
- In the Target line you will see the path to the game executable in quotation marks similar to this: "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III.exe"
- Click just after the quotation mark on the right which should be after the path and you should see a blinking cursor there.
- Press the space bar on the keyboard once.
- Press the - key on the keyboard once (the key is just to the left of the = key)
- Type in swtnl the path should now look similar to this: "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III.exe" -swtnl
- Click the OK button and try running the game again.

also please report back about your laptop brand and model and your Video card

(for the video card, press start -> run, type dxdiag, and press enter, choose display, and look and the upper left, you can see your video card brand and model)

My laptop is a dell but i am not sure which model is it. run with windows xp professional 1.99GHz, 2G Ram, intel 965 express chipset family

Also, i dont run it as a shortcut, i directly run Frozen Throne.exe

make a shortcut and follow the instructions that I wrote above

just to make sure, is your video card Intel 965??
if it is download the 14.33 version of the intel video driver, many reported that it worked for Warcraft III
(please make sure to remove your current video card drivers)

I have suscessfully fixed it by following your instruction,
thank you so much,
and by the way, i had tried to update the version of the intel video driver, it said it was sucessful but when i reboot it still display 6.14 version, do i have to remove my current video card drivers? If yes, how do i backup as i don't want to crash my laptop.
