Re: Restart problem
Hi, and welcome to TSF. There are a few steps we need you to follow to help us diagnose the problem.
Firstly, please click on "Posting System Specs" in my signature, and follow the instructions to post your full specs for us. Make sure you post everything that's asked for. Secondly, open Control Panel and go to: System -> Advanced. Under Startup and Recovery, select Settings. Then untick the box which says Automatically Restart. Click OK. The next time your computer restarts, you should be presented with an error message on a blue screen (known as a "Blue Screen" or "BSOD"). Write down the error message and post it here for us. Thirdly, download and install Everest and SensorsView (both in my signature). Use them to record your temperatures and voltages. What we want to see is this: +3.3V = +5V = +12V = CPU Temp = GPU Temp = (any other temperatures being shown as well) We need to see those numbers four times: - Once from Everest when the computer is sitting at the desktop. - Once from SensorsView when the computer is sitting at the desktop. - Once from Everest after 10 minutes of playing a game. - Once from SensorsView after 10 minutes of playing a game. To find them in Everest, click Computer -> Sensor. Once we have that information, we can start narrowing down the problem.
