Re: the 9800gt!!!!

Well I am running 2 9800 GT from PNY 1G memory on each and I am running Crysis on 22" on max resolution and everything else on high, sadly cannot go ultra (locked). Very good card. When I still had one, had no problems at all. and at that ress u should be able to go all high no prob. Just make sure to get the 9800 with the gig of mem.

Re: the 9800gt!!!!

My 512mb 8800GT runs Crysis and GTA4 on high or very high settings at 1440x900, over 30fps and no lag.

Re: the 9800gt!!!!

If you're playing at 1024x768, 512mb will be plenty. If you plan on upgrading your monitor to one with a higher native resolution, 1gb would allow you to increase the texture quality.

Re: the 9800gt!!!!

What is your current PSU?

If its not good enough you'll have to get a new PSU first the na graphics card. (power supply unit)

Re: the 9800gt!!!!

for the 9800 GT you need at least 28 Amps under the +12V
Corsair PSU are the best PSUs on the market, I don't know if Cool Master are good but see if you can find anything about the Amps in that PSU
