Hey all.
Playing WoW and trying to create my own vent server and allow people to connect. Already downloaded client and server and installed. I CAN connect using my ip, port 3784, simple password, and channel 1. Anyone else gets "contacting server" forever. I am using XP PRO SP3, a windstream dsl modem directly connected, windows firewall with port 3784 enabled both ways, and all other firewalls and antivirus disabled. Any help? DSU Edit: Found out my modem does have a built in firewall and I can access it, but I don't know how to port forward or allow access to 3784. Help? Re: Ventrillo Connection Server Problem
I assume you were able to get into the modem to forward ports?
Anyway, you can mark the thread solved by clicking the Mark as solved option under Thread Tools.
