COD 5 Patch help

I got COD 5 and it worked fine but the multiplayer said i had to download patches to play other more servers. I went to callofduty.com and downloaded all of the patches (1.1-1.4) but now when i play it, it will say Call Of Duty world at war and then go to the screen where you can select multiplayer, solo/co-op and a bunch of other things. when i click solo/co-op or multiplayer the window goes away and instead of going to the game it does nothing. please help

what do you mean it does nothing, it freezes? or like it closes?

the game quits and nothing else happens(no error messages)

Uninstall the game and try running it before each patch is installed

uninstall with Revo Uninstaller
