[SOLVED] World of Warcraft messed up stuff!?
Hello,
I recently installed wow and works fine up until i actually play the game, when i log into my character the video is messed up objects are missing and disfigured. I was wondering could this be a video card problem? I took a screenshot to give a more detailed look at the problem. http://i526.photobucket.com/albums/c...ory681/wow.jpg Please dont suggest reinstalling i already have two times. If it helps i played before but had to get a new harddrive and reinstalled everything. -Tory P.S. If you need any more info say it and I'll do it as soon as i can. Re: World of Warcraft messed up stuff!?
I asked my broter about anything he may have messed with and he said he deleted something called catalyst(if i spelled it right) I know that was from ATI and i know my video card is from ATI so could anyone help me find it i dont know their official website.
I think the program was called catalyst control center? Radeon Mobility 9600 Pro Video Card is my card. Its Windows XP SP3, HP Compaq nc6000 Notebook PC. Thanks for everyone answering my post too! I'll try to find myself and will post results if it fixes the problem, im sure it will. |

Re: World of Warcraft messed up stuff!?
Get the installation Verification Software from the bottom of this page.
Then go into Add/Remove programs and uninstall anything to do with Catalyst Control Centre. Restart the computer and keep tapping the F8 key before Windows boots. You should be presented with a 'Windows Advanced Options Menu'. Select 'Boot into Safe Mode'. Once you get into Windows, install the driver you just downloaded, then restart the computer. |
