I'm having trouble starting up some games such as Battle For Middle Earth 2. The screen goes black and I can hear what should be happening with the whole titles and stuff but I can't see anything. This lasts for about 4 seconds before it goes back to my desktop with an error box saying:
Game Crash Direct3D error 0x0x88760827 (D3DERR_DRIVERINTERALERROR) 2 addresses: (unknown)(0): game.dat+241550 Debug::PostStaticInit+3390 (unknown)(0): game.dat+1176743 Coord3D::add+190060 Because of the severity of this error the game will now exit. I've also attached a print screen copy of the error box. The game, as with others, used to work perfectly but has suddenly started playing up. Not all games do this either. Sorry if this seems obvious to fix but I'm pretty clueless about these things. I've read everything i can on these forums and downloaded lots of stuff but it hasn't helped. If it helps my computer is an XP 2002 Home Edition Service Pack 2. I'd be grateful for any help. :) Thanks Last edited by gj92; 05-23-2009 at 07:52 AM. Reason: Additional info |
