HL2 mods keep rashing
Hello,
I used to be able to play Counter Strike Source and other HL2 based mods like Day of Defeat source on my Acer 8920g laptop. This weekend i read that you could try out team fortress 2, but I noticed that my entire laptop went to blue screen when I went to the options screen. When I want to just join a game it also goes to the blue error screen in the final loading stages and just bootes up my laptop again. - The screen said to check for memory issues. I ran a memtest86+ scan, but this says there is nothing wrong with my memory. - I updated the laptop with the latest video drivers. I cant seem to figure out what is going wrong. Please help. Kind regards. |

Re: HL2 mods keep rashing
I don't thing you ran memtest 86 correctly as to do that you would need to remove all the ram and test each SODIMM stick individually...
Try running the game as administrator, and in compatibility mode for XP SP2. Also make sure that DEP (Data Execution Prevention) is disabled.
