If I reformat my HD...
I know I lose everything. But I bought all my games from Steam. When I get my Os and steam back on will I be able to just re-download and install the games? Or will I need to back them up???

As far as I know, yes. I think all you have to do is install steam to your reformated HDD and reinstall the game. Just to make sure call steam or post a thread to their forum about this.

I do it all the time. Once a game is registered to a steam account, you can uninstall and re-install the game as many times as you like, on multiple computers without a single disc.
All you have to remember is your login information. |
