Using an Xbox Controller with my PC...
I'm trying to play Final Fantasy VII on the PC. FFVII works fine with the keyboard, but I feel my experience would be enhanced with a gamepad. I have a wired gamepad. It is a MadCatz Wired controller, with a GameStop logo= http://media.nowpublic.net/images//4...8cbbaf1c91.jpg
How can I use it with this game? |

Re: Using an Xbox Controller with my PC...
ahh FF7 what a time taker and awesome game.
you should be able to play with your controller. and it should hopefully recognize the controller then there's the problem of setting the keys I'll install FF7 on my comp and see if I can get it to recognize my 360 controller |

"Found New Hardware MadCatz GamePad" The controller light doesn't turn on. I've tryed holding it for a long time. I went to "Configure" in the game and tried changing the keyboard buttons by pressing the controller and the joystick buttons too. (BTW I don't have a joystick.) My computer is a Gateway and the OS is Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004. You'd think a Xbox 360 controller would function with a Microsoft make, but Final Fantasy VII WAS made for Sony, along with the other half-billion Final Fantasy spin-offs.
