Re: System shuts down automatically

wow!
are those temps when your PC is idle???
if that is in idle than the CPU and GPU temps are high!
idle means when the PC is not doing anything
under stress means when the CPU is working like playing a game
so try playing a game for 10 to 20 mins and minimize the game and see what the temps are again
if your PC shuts down before 10 mins then 5 mins is OK
it seems that your PC is not getting enough cooling and the CPU is shutting down to prevent damage.
also please post your PC specifications :
CPU
Video Card
RAM
Motherboard
Power Supply Unit

Re: System shuts down automatically

Are these temperatures in idle mode or full mode???
For your information, idle mode is when you are not doing anything on PC,
and Full mode/load is when you are playing games etc.
If these temperatures are in idle, than GPU and CPU temperatures are a bit high...
And your fan speed is on high speed so I guess your CPU is over-heating...

Re: System shuts down automatically

what you can do is to get extra fans for your PC
now that the best thing is to open the side case of your Desktop to let your CPU and video card have some cooling air
it'll be a temporary solution

Re: System shuts down automatically

that's better
keep the side case open for now
you'll notice a temp drop of both the CPU and Video Card
and always keep your PC in a cool area (if you are putting your case under the monitor or under a desk make sure that there is a space between a wall and a fan

Re: System shuts down automatically

Fan speed 4523 rpm
gpu temp=72 degree celsius
cpu temp=44 degree celsius
this is after opening the side cases
suddenly the cpu, ambient, hd0, temp1 are the only having a tick mark.

Could you please describe the airflow in your case.
By that I mean positions of each fan and which direction they are directing air.

Aside from that, try making sure the system clear of dust (it can build up surprisingly quickly). Make sure cables are tied back and clear of any fans so that airflow isn't hindered.

Also make sure the CPU Heatsink and Fan are securely seated (not loose).

Re: System shuts down automatically

ok i will describe you.the system is located in a case and the airflow is from its front, the air might pass from its sides but it can't reach the back.the airflow back of the fan has attached wires to the system and a wall.

it is not supposed to drop quickly especially if the CPU temps is still above 40
