Non Compatible game freeze!

I had bought a game called as 'Pokemon Play It! V2' when i was running the win98 operating system.Now i have winxp.I managed to install and run the game by using program compatibility wizard, but now the game freezes while playing.The freezing time is random.
Sometimes it just freezes and when I press Ctrl + Alt + Del the task manager appears & everything is all right.But sometimes it freezes totally and i have to press the restart button.
I have game is cracked b'coz my CD-ROM also hangs.
Pleazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help?

hello ruturajpokemon and welcome to TSF

keep the compatibility mode on and also try this :
go to Control panel -> sounds and audio devices, under speaker settings choose advanced -> performance
now set the hardware acceleration to BASIC (move the marker to times to the left)
click OK and then retry the game
also try to run the game with 256 colors compatibility

I've searched the net and sorry to say but I think there not a patch for that game to run on XP, I think the publishers just let it go

Thank you rockmaster but i have tried to run using every comaptibility option, no use and my sound acceleration already to basic.

Unfourtunatly we can't help your cracked version as it is against the rules here at TSF.

Here is what you can do.
Update all drivers, get service pack 3.
Try running the game with the desktop at lower resolutions or at 16-bit colour.
Make sure your anti-virus or firewall is not blocking the game.
Also what is your system specs? XP requires 512 MB of ram to run efficiently and a very low quality CPU may be causing problems.

I did not pay attention at the final line!!!
we can't support you anymore sorry, if you have the original game you just have to use it on win98

If you remove the crack, you may be able to get the game to work using DOSBox.

Unfortunately, we cannot help you any further, as stated above.
