Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2

as soon as i am finished making a character and i click play, a message comes up saying:
"The Instruction at 0x00000000 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program."
I am running on Vista, and i have tried the things that people have said to do... please help.

with only 1 stick of ram installed at a time run memtest86
http://www.memtest86.com/

there's a ISO image there for burning the program to a CD or DVD or you can use a USB stick or a Floppy drive

Try right clicking on the .exe and check 'Run as Administrator'

Also check to make sure your Anti-Virus or firewall is not blocking the game

Re: Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2

hello, what is your video card?
if it is ATI then you need to patch the game with the latest patch available for the game
if it's Nvidia try to install an old version of drivers it could sometimes help
even if you have ATI also try using an older driver
get the game patch from here :

KOTOR II Patch 1.0b
