Yellow FPS and time in all games
The other day I was playing L4D and I hit some random keys on my keyboard and then my FPS count and the time it currently was started to show up in the corner of the screen. I made sure no outside program, such as fraps, was causing this and then when I ran another game the same thing happened.
Does anyone know how to disable this? http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/c...fpsandtime.jpg |

Re: Yellow FPS and time in all games
Let me guess, your running Xfire while playing aren't you?
A week ago (or something) Xfire updated and since then there's a FPS and Time counter. This is what Raincrow, Xfire moderator said: "Hey all, Happy April 12th fool's day...uh ok kidding aside. We apologize for the FPS Counter and Clock being defaulted as on in the new XIG interface. It was not meant to be turned on by default. To workaround the issue do the following: Press Scroll Lock + E or click on the "Edit" button in XIG mode (Looks like a pencil). Next uncheck the FPS and/or Clock from the list in the bottom left hand corner. They will now be off. Here is a video showing you have to turn it off. Xfire Edit Mode - Turn off clock/fps counter We apologize for the inconvenience, it was not our intention to make these default to on. RC " |
