Crysis problems

My specs:

Compaq Presario 061
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+, ~2.2GHz
3.5GB RAM
241 GB Hard Drive
ATI Radeon HD 4670
ViewSonic VA902b Monitor
Realtek AC'97 Sound
Windows Vista Home Basic

I'm having a few problems with Crysis. First I think you should know some problems that i've had in the past. The 1.2.1 patch wouldn't let me play it because it thought I was running emulators, so I had to get a no-CD .exe file. Then it was running super-slow in DirectX10, so I have to run it in 9 from now on, which works with no problem. My current problems are:

1. Whenever I try to change ANY setting, the second I click apply the game crashes to desktop

2. The sound is very choppy

Can someone please help me with this?

Re: Crysis problems

First please uninstall the game and then re-install, do not apply the No-cd patch. Until then TSF can not help you. The crashes you are experiencing is probably caused by the No-cd.exe.
