Far cry 2 and COD:WAW
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone had any input as to why i cant play Farcry 2 unless its on high (lowest level of detail) and on the lowest screen rez?

Yet

I can play COD:WAW Just fine!!!

that is not the full Specs.

click start -> Run and write : Dxdiag
(if you don't have RUN just type in the search area above the start button)

when Directx opens press the middle button on the bottom of DirectX (save all infortmation)

save it to a txt file and attach it or copy it here

ok, you are using a laptop

it could be the Geforce 8700 M GT, even if it's a medium card that should run Far Cry 2, but it's a laptop card.
anyway, have you tried to update your Video Card Drivers?

click on Nvidia Drivers from my sig and choose Geforce 8M Series (Notebook)
then choose your operating system and your language and click on search
it'll give you the latest drivers for your card
download them and install them
