BF 2142 - Crash to desktop on "Join Server"
Hey guys,
I've been playing Battlefield 2142 for a while now with no client side issues... I haven't changed a darn thing on my system either. I can log into the EA Master Server perfectly fine, visit BFHQ, etc... But when I go to Multiplayer, choose a game and click "Join Server" - My game crashes to desktop. ![]() ![]() Things that I have tried include: - Uninstalled/Reinstalled - Updated PunkBuster - Checked my audio/video drivers - all up-to-date - Patched the game with v1.5 (latest update) - Closed all unnecessary background processes I don't understand why this is happening. It was running fine literally two days ago. I've included my dxdiag and my specs are: CASE: Antec P180B PSU: ePOWER 550W ATX12V CPU: Intel e6600 2.4GHz CPU Cooling: Zalman CNPS9500AT Socket LGA775 CPU Cooler MB: EVGA NVIDIA nForce 680i LT SLI ATX RAM: 2 GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800MHz GC: XFX GeForce 9800GTX HDD: 320GB Western Digital Sound: Onboard 7.1 Realtek HD Audio SPKR: Logitech 5.1 OS: Windows XP Professional SP3 |
