sixaxis on pc

I have tried alot of instructions from the web to get my sixaxis to work on my laptop,both wired and wireless.
I keep reading about how easy it is and that a large amount of people are doing it! Its really annoying that i cant get this to work.
I have a custom built Dell xps M1530 with vista, which has bluetooth.So if possible,id like to use the sixaxis wirelessly. If not, wired is fine. But either way id love to start gaming with my sixaxis! Can yee help?
