I installed the game days ago, everything worked fine, thought i should play some multiplayer, typed the cd-key,worked.But then a popup came, saying something like ''update failed, your internet may be down,or our update servers may be down''...Well,my internet wasn't down, and it appears the original sierra website doesn't exist anymore. So i wondered if anyone here knew what's wrong...
Thanks. |

Re: AvP2 update
Sierra shut down all multiplayer servers in January this year so you can't register or play online.

Re: AvP2 update
Tiber is right, the game did well early on, but they did not make enough after a while so to save money they shut down almost all online games they developed that are over 6 years old. So to answer your question yes, there is NOTHING you can do to play online, I mean there is a tiny tiny chance that you can run your own server or emulate one, but I don't think it's possible with AVP2, The only thing I think you can use is LAN.
