Team Fortress 2 Error
I am trying to run Team Fortress 2 and for some reason the game keeps crashing during the load screen after the valve logo comes up.
I keep getting the error message, The instruction at "0x00010100" referenced memory at "oxffffffff". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program Whats really odd is that I used to be able run TF2 but after i reformatted my computer this **** started happening and i was wondering if any one knew how to fix it. I have uninstalled/reinstalled TF2 but the problem remains. |

Re: Team Fortress 2 Error
I have updated my video card driver. My computer is about 3 and 1/2 years old and i haven't updated it since sadly but it used to run the game fine.
1 gig of ram, Radeon X1900 video card, and Abit SG 80 motherboard. |

Re: Team Fortress 2 Error
ok I don't know if that could work for you but try to lower the hardware acceleration of your sound card.
to do that go to control panel and choose sounds and audio devices under the speaker settings choose advanced and click on Performance tab now scroll the meter two times to the left (BASIC) I'm talking about the first one click apply and then try to run the game again
