[SOLVED] Call of Duty World at War problem - please help!?
Hi all,
I wonder if anybody could help me. I have had COD World at War installed before and I have completed the game lots of times with no probs.I recently had some pc probs and had to re-install windows xp, so I automatically assumed my game had started to crash to the desktop cos of my other probs. However, now my pc is running fine now but the game still crashes! I have tried everything, including the latest NVidia drivers (and using the older ones again too - which I originally ran the game successfully on), changing Directx to the November issue (advised on other forums), re-installing the game etc etc. I can get to level 3 and then it crashes to desktop with no error message, although once I managed to see "directx error". So in other words I can play level 2 (little resistance) and complete it, and while level 3 starts to load that is when it crashes, always at that point. I really don't understand it cos my pc is more than powerful enough in every way and like I say I have played the game many times before without a problem! I would appreciate some advice - many thanks. Andrew. |
