Can anyone tell me how to make the online games for Battlefield 2 faster and without lag?
![]() I've tried getting new firmware but that didn't help at all, so is there anything I can try without buying a new router?

You need to either donate to the forum, have over 500 posts or be a member of a team.
Also, in you System Specs, you've mixed up your Memory and Hard Drive. What's your ISP and connection speed? Have you port forwarded BF2? |

Re: Online Battlefield 2 is really slow!!!
Battlefield 2 is a very memory intensive game. It sucks a whopping 2 gigs of my memory when im running it.
And while you should be able to run it on a 7300, I wouldnt be running it at any high settings. |

Re: Online Battlefield 2 is really slow!!!
1GB or less is only recommended to a 16 player server and on low graphical settings, if you are joining a 32 or 64 its somewhere around 1.5GB on low settings. 2GB or more to actually increase the graphical settings above low or medium.

Re: Online Battlefield 2 is really slow!!!
You need more memory, and a faster graphics card to optimize the graphics of this game.
You can get memory and a good graphics card relatively cheap, assuming you have a PCI-E slot. Last edited by Jtsou; 01-31-2009 at 05:31 PM. |
