Re: Counter Strike Source Server Help
First of all, you should contact your ISP or read their Terms of Service to see if hosting servers violates your agreement with them as a customer.
First you need to visit: http://portforward.com/routers.htm And you need to forward 27015 and 27020 UDP. For a rock solid server connection, you should have a 4000kbps upload speed. To test your connection speed, visit: http://www.speedtest.net/ DSL is not an ideal connection due to the way it handles line noise. It would be best if you had at least 2GB of RAM and a dual core processor. If you have a upload speed of below 1000kbps, you should consider renting a server instead of running one yourself. NEXT, you need to grab this: http://storefront.steampowered.com/d...updatetool.exe Read HLDSUpdateTool's readme and report back if you have any further issues. |
