Cod4 object texture issues

When I turn or move horizontally in cod4 the structures and objects etc. seem to be misaligned. I'm playing on a new Asus g50vt-x1 laptop. I can't download a driver for my video card where I live(26.4k dial up), so I'm just wondering if that could be the problem. The current driver is forceware 176.23 on a 9800m gs gpu.

After playing bf2 on it, it seems to have the same issue... horizontal lines are noticeable when moving horizontally, is this a screen problem or gpu?
I just got the laptop on the 24th of January. :(

Turns out I didn't have vsync on, problem solved.
